I was fortunate enough to meet this plentiful and wonderful family several years ago, to photograph their beloved grandmother. After spending some time simply hanging out with everyone and documenting their daily life, their beautiful grandmother, who spoke no English, asked for a photo with ME! I think I did a good job of hiding my happy tears at that point, and it was a moment I will absolutely never forget. Fast forward to mid August of 2020, on a weekend of a boy becoming a man, dad’s birthday, AND dad & mom’s anniversary weekend! I was honored when Deepika contacted me to commemorate all of these wonderful events, and so excited! They’re all so cool! And the beautiful house, clothing, and traditions that I’d likely never get to experience if I was not in this amazing profession are just such a huge job perk, I cannot even put into words how awesome this morning was. I can’t wait to see what the next big moment holds! Thank you so very much for such a fantastic (understatement) Sunday!
